5. European Convention
 Vom 21. - 24. September 2001 fand im Holiday Inn in Kaarst/Düsseldorf die 5. Europäische Convention der Sons Of The Desert (Die Wüstensöhne) statt. 118 Söhne und Töchter der Wüste aus 6 Nationen verbrachten ein fröhliches Wochenende. Eine besondere Erwähnung verdient die Teilnahme vom 12 amerikanischen Freunden die trotz der schrecklichen Ereignisse in New York und Washington an der Convention teilnahmen.
Frei nach dem Motto Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte hier ein paar Impressionen von der Convention. Alle Teilnehmer, die Fotos gemacht haben, sind bittend aufgefordert uns diese zu schicken oder zu mailen, damit ein möglichst komplettes Bild von der Convention entsteht. Vielleicht fühlen sich ja dadurch auch andere angeregt einmal an einem solchen Ereignis teilzunehmen. Im nächsten L&H Journal gibt es auch noch mal einen Bericht.

September 21st - 24th, 2001 was the date for the 5th European Convention of the Sons Of The Desert held in the Holiday Inn Hotel in Kaarst/Düsseldorf, Germany.
 118 Sons and Daughters from six nations spend a happy weekend full of fun and levity. A special note of thanks goes to the 12 American Conventioneers who
found their way to the convention in spite of the terrible things happened in New York and Washington.
